The fundraiser for this year is our 24 hour marathon. This will take place on 1st June from 7pm to 2nd June at 7pm. Put your name down to participate on the notice board at the centre. We are raising money for Sports Relief and Bubwith Tennis Club (50/50 split) This is running in conjuction with the Jubilee celebrations at the centre.

Bubwith has entered the village cricket competition this year. You have to live within the parish to compete. Paul Lambert is running it and needs anyone that fancied a good laugh and the chance to socialise and raise money for charity to play. The first match is on the 18th May. THIRD TENNIS COURT – (the one on the car park) is available for anyone to play on for a small fee. The key is held at the Spar shop, please call in and pay £3 charge and £5 deposit for the key to play. Please note that the court will not be available when a tennis match is on.

BADMINTON CLUB
Would you be interested in joining a new Badminton Club? We have had discussions with Badminton England and we have a clear opportunity to restart the passion for Badminton that was in the village when the centre was first built in 1992. We need people to sign up and register their interest, so we can establish a new club with professional coaching facilities. It will only take a few months to do this and we can look forward to Badminton being on the programme for Autumn 2011! Please email us via the contact page to put your name on the list!
